Composition
The active ingredient in Cardura is Doxazosin Mesylate. Each tablet contains 2 mg of Doxazosin.
Mechanism of Action
Doxazosin, a selective alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker, works by relaxing smooth muscles in the blood vessels and prostate, leading to vasodilation and improved urinary flow.
