Composition
Each tablet contains 10 mg of amlodipine besilate and 160 mg of valsartan.
Mechanism of Action
Difors XL combines amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, with valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist. Amlodipine inhibits the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells, leading to vasodilation and reduced peripheral vascular resistance.
