Ingredients
Active ingredient: Levothyroxine sodium.
Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal silicon dioxide, and magnesium stearate.
Dosage
Adult Dosage: The usual starting dose is 25-50 mcg once daily. Dosage should be adjusted based on individual response and laboratory findings.
Indications
L-Tiroxine (Levothyroxine Sodium) 100 mcg tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypothyroidism, pituitary TSH suppression, and thyroid cancer.
Contraindications
Contraindications include: untreated thyrotoxicosis, acute myocardial infarction, and hypersensitivity to any component of the product.
Directions
Take L-Tiroxine (Levothyroxine Sodium) tablets orally on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before breakfast. Swallow tablets whole with a full glass of water.
