Locoid Ointment
Ingredients
- Active ingredient: Hydrocortisone butyrate
- Other ingredients: White soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, butylhydroxyanisole
Dosage
Apply a thin layer of Locoid ointment to the affected area once or twice daily, or as directed by a healthcare provider. Do not cover with a bandage unless instructed.
Indications
Locoid ointment is used for inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.
Contraindications
Avoid if allergic to hydrocortisone butyrate or any other ingredients. Do not use on broken or infected skin.
