Scientific Evidence
Oxymetazoline hydrochloride, the active ingredient in Nazol Kids, is a vasoconstrictor that works by constricting blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion. Studies have shown its efficacy in providing relief from nasal congestion in children with colds or allergies. Research by Eccles et al. (2007) demonstrated the rapid onset of action and long-lasting relief provided by oxymetazoline in pediatric patients.
