Pharmacological Effects: Sodium hyaluronate acts as a lubricant and moisturizer, forming a protective film over the ocular surface. It enhances tear film stability, reduces friction, and promotes corneal healing.
Clinical Trials: In a randomized controlled trial by Smith et al. (2019), patients using sodium hyaluronate eye drops experienced a significant reduction in dry eye symptoms compared to the control group. The results highlighted the efficacy of SuperOptic Aqua in managing dry eye conditions.
