Description

Composition

1 coated tablet contains:

active ingredient: 768 mg of S-adenosyl-L-methionine, which corresponds to 400 mg of ademetionine;

excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, heavy magnesium oxide, silicon dioxide, sodium starch, croscarmellose sodium, talc and others.

Properties

S-adenosyl-L-methionine (ademetionine) is a natural amino acid that is present in almost all tissues and fluids of the body. Ademethionine primarily acts as a coenzyme and methyl group donor in many transmethylation reactions, which is an important metabolic process in humans and animals. The transfer of methyl groups (transmethylation) of ademetionine is also an important metabolic process in the construction of the phospholipid cell membrane and plays a role in membrane fluidity.

Recommendations for use

It is recommended for use in diets only under the supervision of a physician in conditions accompanied by a decrease in the biosynthesis of hepatic S-adenosyl-L-methionine (the influence of the harmful effects of environmental factors, chronic disorders of the digestive system, alcohol consumption), as an additional source of S-adenosyl-L -methionine in order to maintain the normal function of the digestive system, general strengthening of the body.

Mode of application

Adults take 1 tablet daily or as directed by a physician.

The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the course of the disease and is determined by the doctor individually.

Tablets should be swallowed without chewing. Adenomak tablets are coated with a special coating that dissolves only in the intestine, due to which ademetionine is released in the duodenum.

For better absorption of the active substance and for the full therapeutic effect, the tablets should be taken between meals.

Adenomak tablet should be removed from the blister immediately before taking.

If the integrity of the package is broken, you must refrain from using them.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any excipient of the agent. Genetic defects that affect the methionine cycle and/or cause homocystinuria and/or hyperhomocysteinemia (eg, cystathionine beta synthase deficiency, defect in vitamin B12 metabolism).
