Ingredients

Active ingredient: Sumatriptan succinate 100 mg.

Dosage

Recommended dosage: The usual adult dose is 25 mg to 100 mg taken as soon as migraine symptoms appear. Do not exceed 200 mg in a 24-hour period.

Indications

Amigren (sumatriptan) capsules are indicated for the acute treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura.

Contraindications

Do not use Amigren (sumatriptan) capsules if:

• You have uncontrolled hypertension.
• You have a history of heart disease.
• You are allergic to sumatriptan.

Directions

Take one capsule by mouth with water as soon as migraine symptoms appear. If the headache returns, a second capsule may be taken after 2 hours.
