Aminoplasmal B.Brown 10% E is a solution for providing the body with amino acids and electrolytes within the parenteral diet.
The purpose of parenteral nutrition is to provide the body with all the nutrients it needs to grow, maintain, and regenerate tissues.
Amino acids are of particular importance because they are essential building blocks of protein synthesis. Once administered, the amino acids are mixed with the body’s own amino acids. Exogenous and endogenous amino acids play the role of structural elements for the synthesis of functional and structural proteins.
In order to avoid improper absorption of amino acids and at the same time ensure processes that require energy, additional introduction of energy sources (hydrocarbons / fats) is necessary.

Pharmacodynamics
Indications
The solution is used for the introduction of amino acids for protein synthesis during parenteral nutrition, impossibility, insufficiency or contraindications to oral or enteral nutrition.
In parenteral nutrition, the administration of amino acid solutions should always be accompanied by an adequate supply of energy substrates, for example in the form of carbohydrates.
Directions
Aminoplasmal B.Brown 10% E should be administered using a sterile infusion set immediately after opening the container.
The dose of Aminoplasmal solution is calculated in accordance with the individual patient’s need for carbohydrates, amino acids and fluids, depending on the clinical status (nutritional status and / or degree of nitrogen catabolism due to the underlying disease).
Adults and children from 14-17 years old
Daily dose:
10-20 ml / kg body weight, which corresponds to 1.0-2.0 g of amino acids / kg body weight and is equivalent to
700-1400 ml of solution for a patient weighing 70 kg.
Maximum daily dose:
20 ml/kg body weight, which corresponds to 2.0 g amino acids/kg body weight (140 g amino acids for a patient weighing 70 kg) and equivalent to 1400 ml for a patient weighing 70 kg.
The maximum infusion or drip rate, respectively: 1.0 ml/kg body weight/hour, which corresponds to 0.1 g of amino acids/kg body weight/hour, which is equivalent to 70 ml/hour for a patient weighing 70 kg (1.17 ml/min for a patient weighing 70 kg).
Children
Dosage data for children are indicative averages. The dosage should be selected individually, taking into account the age of the child, the stage of development and the prevailing disease.
Daily dose for children:
from 2 to 4 years: 15 ml/kg of body weight, which corresponds to 1.5 g of amino acids/kg of body weight;
from 5 to 13 years: 10 ml/kg of body weight, which corresponds to 1.0 g of amino acids/kg of body weight.
Maximum infusion rate:
1 ml/kg body weight/hour, which corresponds to 0.1 g of amino acids/kg body weight/hour.
Patients with renal/liver insufficiency
In patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency, doses should be selected individually.
Aminoplasmal B.Brown 10% E is contraindicated in severe liver failure and renal failure in the absence of renal replacement therapy.
Method and duration of application:
For infusion into a central vein (through a central venous catheter).
The drug can be used as long as there are indications for parenteral nutrition.
The drug is a structural element of protein synthesis. For complete parenteral nutrition, the simultaneous administration of energy nutrients, essential fatty acids, vitamins and trace elements is necessary.
