Description
Ingredients:
active substances: amlodipine, lisinopril;
1 tablet contains amlodipine (in the form of amlodipine besylate) 5 mg, lisinopril (in the form of lisinopril dihydrate) 5 mg;
auxiliary substances: corn starch; calcium hydrogen phosphate; lactose, monohydrate; povidone; magnesium stearate; sodium starch glycolate (type A);
shell composition: hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), talc, iron oxide red (E 172), propylene glycol.

Indication.
Essential hypertension.
Contraindications.
– Hypersensitivity to lisinopril or other angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors;
– increased sensitivity to dihydropyridine derivatives and other components of the drug;
– increased sensitivity to any auxiliary substances of the drug;
– severe hypotension;
– history of angioedema after taking an ACE inhibitor, hereditary or idiopathic angioedema;
– from the side of hemodynamics – pronounced stenosis of the aorta or mitral valve or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiogenic (cardiac) shock;
– heart failure after a myocardial infarction (within the first 28 days);
– unstable angina (with the exception of Prinzmetal’s angina);
– pregnancy and breastfeeding;
– children’s age (the effectiveness and safety of the drug are unknown).
Method of application and dosage.
Amlipin (amlodipine) tablets are taken orally for adults. Take 1 tablet 1 time a day regardless of meals. If necessary, the daily dose can be doubled. The maximum daily dose for adults is 20 mg.
Adverse reactions.
Side effects are usually transient and mild, so it is rarely necessary to interrupt the course of therapy.
The most common were headache, cough and dizziness.
Sometimes, as a result of hypersensitivity, angioedema may develop with swelling of the face, limbs, lips, epiglottis and larynx. In this case, it is necessary to immediately stop using Amlipin (amlodipine), the patient should be under the supervision of a doctor until the symptoms completely disappear.
