Aqua Maris (Isotonic sterile roschin of marine waters) nasal spray 150 ml. №1

Composition per 100 ml: sea water – 27.1 ± 3.0 ml; purified water – up to 100 ml.

The natural water of the Adriatic Sea, which is part of the solution, contains ions Cl‒, Na+, SO42‒, Mg2+, Ca2+, K+, HCO3‒, Br‒, as well as trace elements such as: zinc, selenium, iodine, iron, manganese, etc. .

Does not contain chemical additives and preservatives.

Spray nasal. 

Basic physical and chemical properties: transparent colorless liquid with slightly salty taste. 

An isotonic solution of sea water, when applied to the mucous membrane, ensures its normal physiological state, helps to thin the mucus and normalize its production in the goblet cells of the mucous membrane.

A jet of solution under pressure thoroughly rinses all parts of the nasal cavity and nasopharynx, actively cleaning them from excess mucus, viruses, bacteria, foreign particles, including allergens, and dense exudate (crusts).

• The microelements that make up the solution improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, have an anti-inflammatory, cleansing, stimulating, restorative effect on the nasal mucosa. The combined action of useful trace elements of sea water determines the therapeutic
  effect;
• Reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa and nasopharynx;
• Reduces the risk of local complications and accelerates the healing process after operations in the nasal cavity and
  paranasal sinuses (removal of adenoids, polyps, septoplasty, etc.);
• Increases the therapeutic efficacy of drugs applied to the nasal mucosa (vasoconstrictors, hormones, inhaled corticosteroids, antiallergic drugs, etc.);
• Reduces the need to use topical nasal preparations. When you press the nozzle, the distribution of the solution is carried out in the form of an aerosol.
  The special “anatomical” nozzle with a rounded applicator makes it easy to use on babies, young children and adults. A special corrugated surface with a limiter makes it possible to carry out a uniform intensive spray type “shower”, and a tight connection with the nozzle prevents the solution from flowing out. The nebulization system is specially designed to provide the most effective rinsing, while the procedure itself is comfortable for the patient.

Modern packaging technology avoids contact between propellant and seawater solution. In addition, the design of the cylinder provides reliable protection of the product from a microbiological point of view; makes it possible to use up all the amount of solution in the vial; provides convenient application, as the tool can be used in all positions.

The pressure in the bottle  “Aqua Maris Norm” – reaches a value of 8.0∙105 Pa, which contributes to the effective flushing of the nasal passages along the entire length.

• acute and chronic rhinitis;

No contraindications have been identified.

Pressurized bottle: May explode if exposed to heat. Do not pierce or burn even after use. Keep away from heat sources, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames or any other source of ignition. No smoking. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures above 50 °C.

Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Intranasally. 1-2 injections in each nasal passage several times a day (2-6 times a day) and more if necessary. The period of application is not limited.

Means for washing and irrigating the nasal cavity “Aqua Maris Norm. Intensive washing” is used in children from 6 months and adults.

1. Tilt your head to the side.

2. Insert the tip of the balloon into the nasal passage from above. Rinse the nasal cavity for a few seconds.

3. Blow your nose. If necessary, repeat the procedure. 

4. Carry out the procedure with another nasal passage.

The tool is compatible with all drugs used to treat the common cold.

It is used in children from 6 months.
