excipients: glucose, monohydrate; confectioner’s sugar; calcium stearate; potato starch; colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide; talc; flavoring orange 526 natural; “Yellow West FCF” (E110).
Medicinal form
Chewable tablets.
The main physical and chemical properties: solid, regular, round cylinders from light yellow to orange color with inclusions, the upper and lower surfaces of which are flat, the edges of the surfaces are beveled, with a dividing line.

Pharmacodynamics
Ascorbic acid is involved in redox reactions, the metabolism of carbohydrates, thyroxine, iron, the conversion of folic acid into folinic acid, blood coagulation, the formation of steroid hormones, collagen and procollagen, tissue regeneration, the regulation of capillary penetration, the synthesis of lipids and proteins, the processes of cellular respiration. .
Vitamin C contributes to increasing the body’s resistance to infections and the adverse effects of the external environment.
Ascorbic acid has antidote properties. Promotes the absorption of iron in the intestines and participates in the synthesis of hemoglobin.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of Ascorbic acid chewing tablets, thrombosis, tendency to thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, diabetes, severe kidney disease, urolithiasis (when using more than 1 g per day), fructose intolerance.
Special security measures.
Since ascorbic acid has a mild stimulating effect, it is not recommended to take Ascorbic acid chewing tablets at the end of the day. Due to the stimulating effect of ascorbic acid on the formation of corticosteroid hormones, when using it in large doses, it is necessary to control kidney function and blood pressure.
Dosage and Administration
Ascorbic acid chewing tablets should be administered orally, after meals.
Adults and children over 14 years old should take 1-2 tablets (50-100 mg) per day for prevention, children aged 4 to 14 years – 1 tablet (50 mg) per day.
Therapeutic doses for children aged 14 and over and adults are 1-2 tablets (50-100 mg) 3-5 times a day, for children aged 4 to 7 years – 1-2 tablets (50-100 mg) 2 – 3 times a day, for children aged 7-10 years – 2 tablets (100 mg) 2-3 times a day, for children aged 10-14 years – 2-3 tablets (100-150 mg) 2-3 times a day a day
Pregnant and postpartum women and with a low level of vitamin C in breast milk should take 6 tablets (300 mg) a day for 10-15 days, then 2 tablets (100 mg) a day for prevention during the entire period of breastfeeding.
The duration of treatment depends on the nature and course of the disease and is determined by the doctor individually.
