Axsef (cefuroxime) Powder Solution for Injections 750 mg Vial + Solvent Ampoules 6 ml
Ingredients
Active ingredient: Cefuroxime. Inactive ingredients: Vial powder: L-arginine, sodium carbonate. Solvent ampoule: Water for Injections.
Dosage
Dosage: The usual adult dosage is 750 mg every 8 hours. Dosage adjustments may be required based on the severity of the infection.
Indications
Indicated for: Treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including lower respiratory tract, skin and skin structure, urinary tract, bone and joint, and intra-abdominal infections.
Contraindications
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to cefuroxime or other cephalosporins. Use with caution in patients with a history of penicillin allergy.
Directions
Administration: Administer by intravenous or intramuscular injection. Reconstitute the vial with the solvent provided before administration.
