Ingredients

Each tablet of Carbamazepin contains 0.2 g of the active ingredient, carbamazepine.

Dosage

The recommended starting dosage for adults is 200 mg twice daily. Dosage may be adjusted depending on the individual’s response and tolerance to the medication.

Indications

Carbamazepin is indicated for the treatment of epilepsy, trigeminal neuralgia, and bipolar disorder.

Contraindications

• Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to carbamazepine or similar drugs.
• Patients with a history of bone marrow depression.
• Patients with a history of porphyria.

Directions

Carbamazepin tablets should be taken orally with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food. The tablets should not be crushed or chewed. For best results, take this medication at evenly spaced intervals.
