Ingredients

Active ingredient: Carbamazepine 400 mg.

Dosage

Recommended dosage: The usual starting dose is 200 mg twice daily. Dosage may be increased by 200-400 mg per day at weekly intervals based on response. Maximum dose is 1200 mg per day.

Indications

Indicated for: Epilepsy, trigeminal neuralgia, and bipolar disorder.

Contraindications

Do not use if: Hypersensitive to carbamazepine or tricyclic antidepressants.

Directions

– Take with food to minimize gastrointestinal irritation.
– Swallow the tablets whole with a full glass of water.
– Do not crush or chew the tablets.
