Carboplatin Medak (karboplatin) concentrate for infusions 10 mg/ml. 60 ml. vial №1

Ingredients

The main active ingredient in this product is Carboplatin. Each 60 ml vial contains 600 mg of Carboplatin.

Dosage

The dosage of Carboplatin Medak varies depending on the patient’s condition and response to treatment. However, the usual dosage is 360 mg/m2 administered intravenously over 15 to 60 minutes once every four weeks.

Indications

Carboplatin Medak is indicated for the treatment of various types of cancer, including ovarian cancer, lung cancer, and testicular cancer.

Contraindications

• Patients with severe renal impairment.
• Patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to Carboplatin or other platinum-containing compounds.
• Patients with severe bone marrow suppression.

Directions

Carboplatin Medak is administered intravenously. It should be diluted with 5% Dextrose Injection or 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection. The solution should be administered over a period of 15 to 60 minutes. Do not mix Carboplatin Medak with other medications in the same infusion.
