Ingredients
The main active ingredient in Cardicet-Retard is Isosorbide Dinitrate. Each tablet contains 20 mg of Isosorbide Dinitrate.
Dosage
The recommended dosage is as per the doctor’s prescription. However, the usual initial dose is one tablet (20 mg) twice daily.
Indications
Cardicet-Retard is indicated for the treatment and prevention of angina pectoris.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to isosorbide dinitrate or any other component of the formulation.
- Patients with acute circulatory failure or cardiogenic shock.
Directions
Cardicet-Retard tablets should be taken orally. They should not be chewed or crushed, and should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of liquid.
