Cardura (doxazosin) Tablets 1 mg. №30

Ingredients

The active ingredient in Cardura is doxazosin mesylate. Each tablet contains 1 mg of doxazosin mesylate.

Dosage

The recommended starting dose is 1 mg once daily. Depending on the patient’s response, the dosage may be gradually increased.

Indications

Cardura is indicated for the treatment of hypertension and benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Contraindications

Cardura is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to quinazolines, doxazosin, or any other component of the product.

Directions

Cardura should be taken once daily with or without food. Patients should be advised to swallow the tablet whole, without crushing, cutting, or chewing it.

• Note: Cardura may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure, especially at the start of treatment. It is recommended to start treatment under medical supervision.
• Warning: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose to catch up.
