Cardura (doxazosin) tablets 2 mg. №30

Ingredients

The active ingredient in Cardura is doxazosin mesylate. Each tablet contains 2 mg of doxazosin.

Dosage

The recommended starting dose for Cardura is 1 mg daily. Depending on the patient’s response, the dosage may be increased to 2 mg.

Indications

Cardura is indicated for the treatment of hypertension and benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Contraindications

• Cardura is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to quinazolines, doxazosin, or any of its components.
• It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of orthostatic hypotension.

Directions

Cardura should be taken once daily with or without food. Patients should be advised to swallow the tablet whole.
