Ingredients

The active ingredient in Carsil is milk thistle extract, specifically its silymarin content. Each coated tablet contains 22.5 mg of this extract.

Dosage

The recommended dosage of Carsil is 1-2 tablets, three times a day. The tablets should be taken with meals.

Indications

Carsil is indicated for the treatment of chronic liver diseases and liver cirrhosis. It can also be used to support liver function in cases of alcoholic liver disease or toxic liver damage.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to milk thistle extract or any of the other ingredients in Carsil.
• Children under the age of 12.

Directions

Carsil tablets should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of water. They should not be chewed or crushed. The duration of treatment is determined by the physician.
