Ingredients

The active ingredient in Cavinton forte is vinpocetine 10 mg. Other ingredients include lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, and magnesium stearate.

Dosage

The recommended dosage is 1 tablet 3 times a day after meals. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor.

Indications

Cavinton forte is indicated for the treatment of:

• Cerebrovascular disorders (such as ischemic stroke).
• Cognitive impairments (such as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease).

Contraindications

Cavinton forte is contraindicated in patients with:

• Severe ischemic heart disease.
• Arrhythmia.
• Hypersensitivity to vinpocetine or any other component of the drug.

Directions

Cavinton forte should be taken orally, after meals, with a sufficient amount of liquid. The tablets should not be chewed or crushed.
