Ingredients

The active ingredient in Cavinton is vinpocetin. Each tablet contains 5 mg of vinpocetin.

Dosage

The recommended dosage is one tablet three times daily. The dosage may be adjusted by your healthcare provider based on your condition and response to treatment.

Indications

Cavinton is indicated for the treatment of cerebrovascular disorders and related symptoms such as memory impairment, dizziness, and headache.

Contraindications

Cavinton is contraindicated in patients with severe ischemic heart disease, arrhythmia, or hypersensitivity to vinpocetin.

Directions

Take Cavinton as directed by your healthcare provider. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Warnings

Do not use Cavinton if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting your healthcare provider. Cavinton may cause dizziness, so do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you.
