Ingredients

The active ingredient in each Cefasel tablet is 100 mcg of sodium selenite pentahydrate. This is equivalent to 46.46 mcg of selenium.

Dosage

The recommended dosage for adults is one tablet per day. The tablet should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid.

Indications

Cefasel is used for the treatment and prevention of selenium deficiency. This can occur due to inadequate dietary intake, malabsorption disorders, or increased demand (e.g., pregnancy, lactation).

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to sodium selenite or any other component of the product.
• Children under 12 years of age.

Directions

Take the tablet once a day, preferably with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose unless directed by a healthcare professional.
