Cefodox (cefpodoxime) Coated Tablets 100 mg. №10

Ingredients

The active ingredient in Cefodox is cefpodoxime. Each tablet contains 100 mg of cefpodoxime.

Dosage

The recommended dosage of Cefodox is one tablet (100 mg) twice a day. The tablets should be taken with meals.

Indications

Cefodox is indicated for the treatment of a variety of bacterial infections, including:

• Respiratory tract infections
• Skin and skin structure infections
• Urinary tract infections

Contraindications

Cefodox is contraindicated in patients with a known allergy to cefpodoxime or other cephalosporin antibiotics.

Directions

Take Cefodox exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Do not take more or less than the recommended dose. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.
