Description

Cibor (bemiparin sodium) 3500 solution for injections 17500ME/ml. syringe 0.2 ml. №10

Ingredients:

Each 0.2 ml syringe contains 3500 IU of bemiparin sodium.

Dosage:

The usual dose is one syringe (0.2 ml) injected subcutaneously once daily.

Indications:

Cibor is indicated for the prevention of venous thromboembolism in patients undergoing surgery.

Contraindications:

Do not use Cibor in patients with active major bleeding or hypersensitivity to bemiparin sodium.

Directions:

Administer the injection subcutaneously in the lower abdomen, once daily.

Scientific Evidence:

Bemiparin sodium, the active ingredient in Cibor, is a low molecular weight heparin that exhibits anticoagulant properties by enhancing the inhibition of factor Xa. Studies have shown that bemiparin sodium is effective in preventing venous thromboembolism post-surgery with a favorable safety profile.

Additional Information:

Cibor has been well-studied in various clinical trials, demonstrating its efficacy and safety in preventing thrombotic events in surgical patients. The convenience of a pre-filled syringe with a fixed dose makes it easy to administer accurately, reducing the risk of dosing errors.

Compared to other anticoagulants, Cibor has shown similar efficacy in preventing thromboembolism but with potentially fewer side effects, making it a preferred choice in certain patient populations.
