Scientific Evidence
Citramon V tablets have been studied extensively for their analgesic and antipyretic effects. Paracetamol, the main component, works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins in the brain, reducing pain and fever. Studies have shown that the combination of paracetamol, aspirin, and caffeine in Citramon V provides effective pain relief with a faster onset of action compared to paracetamol alone.
Clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of Citramon V in relieving headache and other types of pain. A study published in the Journal of Pain Research reported that the combination of paracetamol, aspirin, and caffeine was more effective than paracetamol alone in reducing headache intensity and improving quality of life in patients with tension-type headaches.
