Ingredients

Active ingredient: Pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate.

Dosage

Recommended dosage: The usual dose is 40 mg once daily. The injection should be administered intravenously over a period of 2 to 15 minutes.

Indications

Controloc (pantoprazole) powder for injections is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Contraindications

Do not use Controloc (pantoprazole) powder for injections if:

• You are allergic to pantoprazole or any other ingredients in the product.
• You are taking atazanavir or rilpivirine.
• You have a history of hypersensitivity to proton pump inhibitors.

Directions

For intravenous use only. The powder for injection should be reconstituted with 10 mL of 0.9% sodium chloride solution. Administer the reconstituted solution within 2 hours.
