Scientific Evidence
Studies have shown that the combination of enalapril and lercanidipine in Coripren tablets can effectively lower blood pressure in patients with hypertension. Enalapril works by inhibiting the angiotensin-converting enzyme, leading to vasodilation and reduced blood pressure. Lercanidipine is a calcium channel blocker that further helps in relaxing blood vessels, enhancing the antihypertensive effect.
Research published in the Journal of Hypertension demonstrated that the combination therapy of enalapril and lercanidipine was more effective in reducing blood pressure compared to monotherapy with either drug alone. This indicates the synergistic effect of the two components in Coripren tablets.
Additional Information
It is important to regularly monitor blood pressure levels while taking Coripren tablets to ensure optimal control. Some common side effects may include dizziness, headache, and cough. If you experience any severe side effects, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
Coripren tablets should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep this medication out of reach of children. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is close to the time for your next dose.
