Scientific Evidence
Cutivate (fluticasone propionate) cream has shown efficacy in treating various inflammatory skin conditions. Studies have demonstrated its anti-inflammatory properties and its ability to reduce itching and redness associated with dermatoses. Clinical trials have shown significant improvement in symptoms with the use of fluticasone propionate cream compared to a placebo.
The pharmacological action of fluticasone propionate involves the inhibition of inflammatory responses in the skin. It works by reducing the production of inflammatory mediators and suppressing the activity of immune cells involved in the inflammatory process. This helps alleviate symptoms such as itching, swelling, and redness.
