Ingredients

Each coated tablet contains 25 mg of dexketoprofen trometamol.

Dosage

The recommended dosage for adults is one tablet every 8 hours as needed. Do not exceed three tablets in 24 hours.

Indications

Depiofen is indicated for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, and musculoskeletal pain.

Contraindications

Do not use Depiofen if you have a history of allergic reactions to dexketoprofen or other NSAIDs, active peptic ulcers, severe heart failure, or during the third trimester of pregnancy.

Directions

Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew. Take with food to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal side effects.

Scientific Evidence

Dexketoprofen trometamol, the active ingredient in Depiofen, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. It works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase, thereby reducing the production of prostaglandins that cause pain and inflammation.
