Scientific Evidence

Duloxetine, the active ingredient in Diuxet, is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) that works by increasing the levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain. These neurotransmitters play a key role in regulating mood and pain perception.

Several clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of duloxetine in the treatment of various conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, and chronic pain syndromes. A study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry showed that duloxetine was significantly more effective than placebo in reducing symptoms of major depressive disorder.

Additional Information

It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and not to suddenly stop taking Diuxet without consulting your healthcare provider, as abrupt discontinuation may lead to withdrawal symptoms. Common side effects may include nausea, dry mouth, dizziness, and fatigue. If you experience any severe side effects or allergic reactions, seek medical attention immediately.

Before starting Diuxet (duloxetine), inform your doctor about any medical conditions you have and any medications you are currently taking to avoid potential drug interactions.
