Ingredients
Each coated tablet contains 0.02 mg of ethinylestradiol and 3 mg of drospirenone.
Dosage
The recommended dosage is one tablet daily for 28 days, starting on the first day of the menstrual cycle.
Indications
Drospifem 20 is indicated for the prevention of pregnancy. It is also used to treat symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) and moderate acne in women who desire contraception.
Contraindications
Do not use Drospifem 20 if you are pregnant, have a history of blood clots, or have certain types of cancer. It is important to discuss your medical history with your healthcare provider before starting this medication.
Directions
Take one tablet daily at the same time each day with or without food. Follow the instructions provided in the package insert for optimal effectiveness.
