Scientific Evidence
Enalapril maleate and hydrochlorothiazide have been extensively studied for their efficacy in managing hypertension.
Enalapril works by inhibiting the angiotensin-converting enzyme, leading to vasodilation and reduced blood pressure.
Hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic, helps the body eliminate excess salt and water, further lowering blood pressure.
Clinical trials have shown that the combination of enalapril and hydrochlorothiazide is more effective in lowering blood pressure compared to either drug alone.
Patients on Enap HL tablets have demonstrated significant reductions in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels.
Additional Information
It is essential to monitor potassium levels while taking Enap HL tablets, especially in patients at risk of hypokalemia.
Regular blood pressure checks and kidney function tests are recommended during treatment.
If you experience symptoms like dizziness, lightheadedness, or swelling while taking Enap HL tablets, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
These may indicate potential side effects that need attention.
