Clinical Trials:

In a randomized controlled trial published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology, sodium picosulfate was found to be significantly more effective than a placebo in relieving constipation and improving stool consistency. The study concluded that sodium picosulfate is a safe and effective treatment option for constipation.
