Scientific Evidence

Enterosgel has been studied for its efficacy in managing acute diarrhea. Research published in the journal “Therapeutic Advances in Gastroenterology” demonstrated that hydrogel of methyl silicic acid can effectively reduce the duration and severity of diarrhea episodes by binding toxins in the gut.

Additional Information

Enterosgel is a well-tolerated treatment option for acute diarrhea with minimal side effects. It is non-absorbable and excreted from the body without systemic effects.
Clinical trials have shown that Enterosgel can help restore normal bowel function and improve overall well-being in patients with acute diarrhea.

Pharmacological Effects: Enterosgel acts as a selective enterosorbent, adsorbing toxins, pathogens, and allergens in the gastrointestinal tract. It forms a protective gel-like layer along the intestinal wall, preventing harmful substances from being absorbed into the bloodstream.

Clinical Trials: A randomized controlled trial published in the “European Journal of Gastroenterology & Hepatology” showed that patients treated with Enterosgel experienced a significant reduction in the frequency and severity of diarrhea compared to placebo, highlighting its clinical efficacy and safety profile.
