Etol Fort Coated Tablets 400 mg. №28

Ingredients:

Each coated tablet contains 400 mg of Etol (Etodolac) as the active ingredient.

Dosage:

The usual dose is one tablet taken orally twice daily with food.

Indications:

Etol Fort is indicated for the management of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Contraindications:

Do not use Etol Fort if you have a history of allergic reactions to NSAIDs or if you are in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Directions:

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Scientific Evidence:

Etol (Etodolac) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase, thereby reducing the production of prostaglandins which are mediators of pain and inflammation. Studies have shown that Etodolac is effective in relieving pain and improving joint function in patients with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of Etodolac in reducing pain intensity and improving physical function compared to placebo in patients with osteoarthritis. Additionally, Etodolac has shown comparable effectiveness to other NSAIDs in the management of inflammatory conditions.

• Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Etol Fort as it may increase the risk of stomach bleeding.
