Pharmacodynamics.
Ferezol is a combined preparation that has a cauterizing and bactericidal effect. The mechanism of antimicrobial action consists in the irreversible coagulation of proteins that make up the vital structures of the pathogen (cytoplasmic membrane, flagella), which leads to the loss of the functions that they perform and the death of the microbe. The drug does not have a pronounced selectivity for certain types of microbes, it is active against gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa. The mechanism of cauterizing action is due to the destruction of macromolecules of cells and fibers of the skin and mucous membranes (chemical burn). Causes chemical burns on contact with body tissues.
