Scientific Evidence
Troxerutin, the active ingredient in Fleboton gel, has been extensively studied for its efficacy in the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency. Research published in the Journal of Vascular Research has shown that troxerutin can improve venous tone and reduce capillary permeability, leading to decreased edema and pain in patients with venous disorders.
Additional Information
Fleboton gel is well-tolerated and suitable for long-term use. It is recommended to consult a healthcare professional before starting any new medication, especially if you have underlying medical conditions or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Pharmacological Effects: Troxerutin, a derivative of the natural bioflavonoid rutin, exerts its pharmacological effects by strengthening blood vessels, reducing inflammation, and improving venous circulation. It also has antioxidant properties that help protect vascular endothelium.
Clinical Trials: Clinical trials have demonstrated the effectiveness of troxerutin in reducing symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency, such as leg pain, cramps, and swelling. In a randomized controlled trial published in the International Angiology journal, troxerutin was found to significantly improve venous function and quality of life in patients with venous insufficiency.
