Fleboton gel Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics. phleboton is a capillarotonic and venotonic agent. has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, inhibits hyaluronidase. prevents the oxidation of hyaluronic, ascorbic acid and adrenaline, suppresses lipid peroxidation. troxerutin reduces capillary permeability and fragility and prevents damage to the basement membrane of endothelial cells and, in addition, has membrane stabilizing, antihemorrhagic, detoxic, antiallergic, venotonic properties. reduces edema, improves trophism and reduces the severity of other symptoms associated with venous insufficiency or impaired outflow of lymphatic fluid.
Fleboton gel Pharmacokinetics.
The dosage form of the drug Phleboton (gel) ensures complete absorption of the active substance through the stratum corneum of the epidermis and penetration into the blood vessels in the subcutaneous tissue. Its pH corresponds to the pH of the skin, as a result of which it does not have a local irritant and sensitizing effect. Since the gel is water-based, it does not affect the physiological properties of the skin.

Application
Apply topically to the skin.
Apply the gel in the morning and in the evening, rubbing gently into the affected skin with light massaging movements. If necessary, the gel can be applied both under the bandage and under the tightening stockings.
The dose and duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually, taking into account the severity and course of the disease.
In severe cases, a combination therapy with troxerutin in capsule form is recommended.
Children. There are no contraindications for using the drug in children.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to troxerutin or any of the excipients.
The gel should not be applied to mucous membranes, open wounds and eczematous skin areas.
Side effects
In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur, including skin irritation, redness, itching, skin rashes, dermatitis, angioedema. symptoms usually disappear after discontinuation of the drug.
Special instructions
Prolonged use may cause hypersensitivity! benzalkonium chloride can cause skin reactions. patients with severe renal impairment are not recommended to use the drug for a long time. if the severity of the symptoms of the disease does not decrease with the use of the drug, you should consult a doctor.
