Hepatrombin cream – a drug in high direct-acting anticoagulant heparin for external use. It has a local antithrombotic, anti-edematous and anti-inflammatory effect, stimulates metabolic processes in tissues, as well as granulation and epithelialization of tissues, improves local blood flow.

Pharmacokinetics.

When applied externally, heparin does not show a systemic effect, quickly penetrates the skin and accumulates in the stratum corneum of the epidermis and, accordingly, has an exclusively local effect.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to heparin or to any other components of the drug, trophic leg ulcers, bleeding open and / or infected wounds, hemorrhagic diathesis, purpurathrombocytopenia, hemophilia. Bleeding tendency.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

Hepatrombin should not be used together with drugs for topical use, for example, with drugs containing tetracycline, hydrocortisone, salicylic acid, anticoagulants.

The use of heparin can prolong the prothrombin time in patients taking oral anticoagulants.

Application features

Apply the cream only to intact skin. The drug should not be prescribed for bleeding, applied to infected skin areas in the presence of purulent processes, mucous membranes. If the patient has hemorrhagic symptoms, the possibility of using the drug should be carefully weighed.

The cream should not be applied to wet skin, wounds, ulcers and blisters, eyes or around the eyes. If the cream accidentally gets inside, the child may feel nausea or vomiting. In this case, it is necessary to perform gastric lavage. Features of the application.
