Scientific Evidence

Grippostad Rino 0.05% Nasal Drops have been clinically proven to provide fast and effective relief from nasal congestion. A study published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology demonstrated the efficacy of xylometazoline in reducing nasal symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis.

Additional Information

It is important to note that prolonged use of nasal decongestants like xylometazoline may lead to rebound congestion. Consult a healthcare provider if symptoms persist for more than 3 days. Keep out of reach of children.

Pharmacological Effects: Xylometazoline is a sympathomimetic agent that acts on alpha-adrenergic receptors in the nasal mucosa, leading to vasoconstriction and reduced nasal congestion. This action helps to open up the nasal passages, making breathing easier.

Clinical Trials: In a comparative study published in the European Respiratory Journal, xylometazoline was found to be more effective in relieving nasal congestion compared to saline nasal sprays. The study highlighted the rapid onset of action and long-lasting relief provided by xylometazoline nasal drops.
