Hartil-AM Capsules – Combination of Ramipril and Amlodipine
Composition
Each Hartil-AM capsule contains 10 mg of ramipril and 10 mg of amlodipine.
Mechanism of Action
The combination of ramipril and amlodipine works synergistically to manage hypertension. Ramipril, an ACE inhibitor, reduces the production of angiotensin II, leading to vasodilation and decreased aldosterone secretion. Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, inhibits calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle cells, resulting in vasodilation and reduced peripheral resistance.
