Isla-Mint Composition
active substance: water extract of Icelandic moss;
1 lozenge contains 100 mg of an aqueous extract of Iceland moos ((2-4): 1); extractant: water; contains sorbitol solution (1: 2);
excipients: sorbitol solution, not crystallizing (E 420); aspartame (E 951), gum arabic, peppermint oil, copper chlorophyll complexes (E 141), light mineral oil, purified water;
1 lozenge contains 0.385 g of carbohydrates, which corresponds to 0.03 bread unit.

Basic physical and chemical properties: flat, irregularly rounded lens-like, green rubbery peppermint-flavored lozenges, the presence of air bubbles is allowed.

The medicinal product contains an extract from the medicinal plant Cetraria islandica (Icelandic moss), which is known for its therapeutic effect in inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.
The therapeutic effect of the drug in catarrhal diseases of the respiratory tract is based on the antimicrobial activity and immunostimulating properties of the herbal extract contained in it, which is proven by the results of scientific research. The polysaccharides contained in the drug envelop the mucous membranes of the airways and effectively protect them from the action of harmful external factors and various kinds of irritants. Since the drug also has protective properties, it can also be used for prophylactic purposes, including when playing sports.
Prophylactic use of the drug is able to protect the mucous membranes, can reduce the susceptibility of the respiratory tract to infections. The drug does not irritate the stomach.
