Isla-Moos Composition
active substance: water extract of Icelandic moss;
1 lozenge contains 80 mg of an aqueous extract of Iceland moos (0.4-0.8: 1); extractant: water; contains sucrose (1: 1.7375);
auxiliary substances: gum arabic, sucrose, light mineral oil, ammonia caramel (E 150 s), purified water;
1 lozenge contains 424 mg of sucrose, which corresponds to 0.035 bread unit.

Basic physical and chemical properties: flat, irregularly rounded, lens-like, brown rubber-like lozenges; the presence of air bubbles is allowed.

Isla-Moos contains an extract from the medicinal plant Cetraria islandica (Icelandic moss), which is well known for its therapeutic action in inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.
The therapeutic effect of Isla-Moos in catarrhal diseases of the respiratory tract is based on the antimicrobial activity and immunostimulating properties of the herbal extract contained in it, which has been proven by the results of scientific research. Isla-Moos medicinal product has protective properties, it can be used for prophylactic purposes, for example, with special sensitivity of the respiratory tract or with increased stress on them (including during sports). Polysaccharides envelop the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract and effectively protect them from the action of harmful external factors and various kinds of irritants.
The prophylactic use of Isla-Moos can reduce the susceptibility of the respiratory tract to infections. The drug does not irritate the stomach.
