Ketotifen Eye Drops 0.025% 5 ml is a topically applied ophthalmic solution. It is designed to provide relief from allergic conjunctivitis and its symptoms such as itching, redness, and swelling of the eyes.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in this product is Ketotifen Fumarate 0.025%. It also contains inactive ingredients such as benzalkonium chloride, glycerin, and purified water.

Dosage

The recommended dosage is one drop in each affected eye twice a day, morning and evening. Always follow the doctor’s instructions for use.

Indications

Ketotifen Eye Drops are indicated for the temporary relief of itchy eyes due to allergic conjunctivitis. It can also be used as a preventive measure against allergen exposure.

Contraindications

This product is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. Do not use if you are allergic to Ketotifen or any other ingredient in this product.

Directions

To apply the eye drops, tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper above the eye with the tip down and squeeze out a drop. Close your eyes for 2-3 minutes with your head tipped down, without blinking or squinting. If you are using another kind of eye medication, wait at least 10 minutes before applying other medications.
