Ketotifen Sofarma Tablets 1 mg. №30

Ingredients

The active ingredient in each tablet is 1 mg of Ketotifen. Other ingredients include lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and colloidal silicon dioxide.

Dosage

The recommended initial dose is 1 mg (1 tablet) twice daily. The dosage can be increased to 2 mg (2 tablets) twice daily if necessary. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before adjusting the dosage.

Indications

Ketotifen Sofarma Tablets are indicated for the preventive treatment of bronchial asthma, as well as for the treatment of symptoms associated with allergic conditions such as rhinitis and conjunctivitis.

Contraindications

Do not use Ketotifen Sofarma Tablets if you are allergic to ketotifen or any of the other ingredients listed above. It is also contraindicated in patients with epilepsy and those with renal or hepatic impairment.

Directions

Take the tablets orally with a glass of water, regardless of meals. Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.
