Lakrisek General properties
Mechanism of action

Lacrisek plus stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film, regulates and corrects the hydration of the eye surface.

Vitamin A normalizes tissue metabolism, participates in redox processes, in the synthesis of mucopolysaccharides, proteins, lipids. Stimulates cell regeneration. Participates in the processes of photoreception (contributes to the adaptation of a person to the dark).

Vitamin E is a natural antioxidant that protects cell membranes from oxidative changes.

Phospholipids are distributed over the surface of the eye and form a film that reproduces the lipid layer, acts as a barrier, reduces the evaporation of the aqueous layer of the tear film.

Vitamins A and E have a calming and softening effect, and in combination with phospholipids, they provide functional support for the lipid component of the eyelids and stabilize the lipid component of the tear film. As liposome stabilizers, vitamins A and E help to improve symptoms of inflammatory, allergic and / or infectious origin.

The lipid component of the tear film is critical for the protective function of the tear fluid and the control of its evaporation.
