Lamicon Dermgel Composition
active substance: terbinafine;

1 g of gel contains terbinafine hydrochloride 10 mg in terms of 100% dry substance terbinafine;

excipients: butylhydroxytoluene (E 321), benzyl alcohol, sorbitan laurate, polysorbate 20, isopropyl myristate, ethanol 96%, carbomer 974P, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics

Terbinafine is an allylamine and has a broad spectrum of antifungal action against skin infections caused by dermatophytes such as Trichophyton (e.g. T. rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum, T. violaceum), Microsporum canis and Epidermophyton floccosum. Terbinafine in low concentration has a fungicidal effect against dermatophytes, molds. The activity against yeasts is fungicidal (for example, Pityrosporum orbiculare or Malassezia furfur) or fungistatic, depending on the species.

Indications
Fungal skin infections caused by dermatophytes such as Trichophyton (e.g. T. rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum, T. violaceum), Microsporum canis, and Epidermophyton floccosum, e.g. athlete’s foot (athlete’s foot), groin dermatophytosis (jockey’s itch) ), dermatophytosis of the trunk (ringworm). Versicolor versicolor caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare (also known as Malassezia furfur).

Lamicon Dermgel Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to terbinafine or to any of the components of the drug.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction
Interaction is unknown, however, as a precautionary measure, do not use other drugs on the treated area.

Application features
Lamikon Dermgel should be used with caution in lesions, during the treatment of which alcohol can cause irritation.

The drug is intended for external use only. May cause irritation in contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact of the gel in the eyes, they must be thoroughly rinsed with running water; in case of persistent irritation, consult a doctor. Do not apply to face.
