Ingredients:

Each tablet contains 100 mg of lamotrigine.

Dosage:

The usual starting dose for adults is 25 mg once daily for two weeks, followed by 50 mg once daily for two weeks. The maintenance dose is typically 100-200 mg per day taken in two divided doses.

Indications:

Lamictal is indicated for the treatment of epilepsy and bipolar disorder. It can be used alone or in combination with other medications.

Contraindications:

Do not use Lamictal if you are allergic to lamotrigine or any of the inactive ingredients in the tablets. It is important to consult a healthcare provider before starting this medication.

Directions:

Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush them. It can be taken with or without food.
