Storage:
active substances: 1 ml of drops contains tinctures of lily of the valley (tinctura convallariae) (1:10) (extractant – ethanol 70%) – 0.5 ml, tinctures of valerian (tinctura valerianae) (1: 5) (extractant – ethanol 70%) – 0 , 5 ml.

Pharmacodynamics
Biologically active substances contained in the roots and rhizomes of valerian (essential oil, valeric acid, borneol, alkaloids, tannins, sugars), reduce the processes of excitation in the central nervous system, increase the effect of other sedatives, hypnotics, analgesics and spasms.

Cardiac glycosides contained in lily of the valley tincture have cardiotonic and hypertensive effects. Under the influence of the drug increases the contractile properties of the myocardium, increases the stroke and cardiac output, slightly reduces dilatation of the heart, arrhythmia, edema. Has a tonic effect on blood vessels, has sedative properties. Glycosides have a diuretic effect.

Contraindication.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, bradycardia, atrioventricular block, Adams-Stokes-Morgany syndrome, unstable angina, hypercalcemia, hypokalemia, glycoside intoxication, depression and other diseases accompanied by depression of the central nervous system; significant organic changes in the heart muscle and blood vessels, acute myocarditis, endocarditis, severe cardiosclerosis.
