Ingredients:

Each capsule contains Loperamide Hydrochloride 2 mg.

Dosage:

The usual adult dosage is 2 capsules initially, followed by 1 capsule after each loose stool, not exceeding 4 capsules in 24 hours.

Indications:

Loperamide Hydrochloride Capsules are indicated for the control and symptomatic relief of acute nonspecific diarrhea and chronic diarrhea associated with inflammatory bowel disease.

Contraindications:

Do not use in patients with a known hypersensitivity to loperamide or to any of the capsule ingredients. Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

Directions:

Swallow the capsules whole with water. Do not chew. Follow the dosage instructions provided or as directed by a healthcare professional.
